Become an umpire

Step One:

To become a member with the Dallas Baseball Umpire Association (DBUA), you must first join the Texas Association of Sports Officials (TASO) and sign up for the Dallas Chapter. 

 

Register online at www.taso.org. Search for "New Applicants" on the home page and then click the apply button.

​

Your TASO membership includes:

  1. Liability insurance coverage

  2. Access to online clinics

  3. Testing rules knowledge

  4. State meeting 

  5. NFHS Rule Book

 

All members are subject to background checks.

Step Two:

Once you have joined TASO, you will receive a DBUA chapter invoice from the Secretary.
