New Members
We actively seek applicants to officiate High School baseball, and there are no special skills to become a member.
Bring your energy, dedication and enthusiasm, and we will train you to be a confident skilled umpire.

Prior experience as an umpire, while helpful, is not required.
Clinics and Training
We begin chapter meetings in December and meet 8-10 times throughout the season.
Clinics and training begin in January, prior to the season and continue through April.
​
New members who participate in training classes will be ready to officiate the game with confidcence.
As You Progress
As new members gain experience, they will be assigned to high school games at various levels.
Umpires transferring from other chapters or states may be assigned varsity games depending on their level of experience and performance, as determined by the chapter assigning authority.
